Sanyo has been in the projector business for a while and makes a number of cameras and other devices. The latest projectors from Sanyo have been unveiled and both projectors can be had with optional power zoom lenses.

The new projectors include the PLC-WM4500 and PLC-WM5500; versions with the power lens add an L at the end of the model number. The projectors each have PiP functionality allowing them to show two images at once on a single screen. The resolution on each is 1280 x 800.
The WM5500 has 5500 ANSI lumens of brightness and the WM4500 has 4500 lumens. Contrast ratio on both projectors is 800:1. Connectivity includes DVI-D, HDMI 1.3, D-Sub, and more. Each projector also has a wired remote and Ethernet port. The 5500 will sell for $5,645 in July with the 4500 selling for $4,545 in August.
