Today on the MWC event Sony Ericsson announces the new Symbian-based smartphone Vivaz™ pro also known as Kanna. Vivaz™ pro has the same features as Sony Ericsson Vivaz™. Basically, both devices are the same phones but Vivaz™ pro is a slider and it has a QWERTY-keyboard. The phone sizes 109 x 52 x 15 mm and weights 117 grams. Today Sony Ericsson announces the new eco-friendly phone – Aspen™. Sony Ericsson Aspen™ is the first smartphone from  GreenHeart™ series.  The device has stick form-factor and it is based on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional OS. Sony Ericsson Aspen™ features 2.4″ QVGA 65,536 colour TFT touchscreen display, QWERTY-keyboard and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The phone sizes 117 x 60 x 12.45 mm and weights 130 grams. Sony Ericsson Aspen™ will be available in selected markets in Q2 2010 in two classic colours: Iconic Black and White Silver.



Sony Ericsson today announces the new Android-based smartphone XPERIA™ X10 mini pro which has a very nice codename Mimmi. The device is basically the same phone as XPERIA™ X10 mini but it has a QWERTY-keyboard. The phone sizes 90 x 52 x 18 mm and weights 120 grams. XPERIA™ X10 mini will be available in selected markets from Q2 2010.


As you may know, two new Sony Ericsson phones from Entertainment Unlimited series – Aino™ and Satio™ have problems with software. Aino™ have problems with touchscreen (sometimes it doesn’t work correctly) and Satio™ have many software bugs. That’s why Carphone Warehouse has stopped sales of Satio™. Nevertheless, Sony Ericsson continues to develop new firmwares for both phones. The new firmware for Aino™ was just recently launched. It gets version – R7AA071. The new firmware already available for updating in SEUS.
 
 Sony Ericsson announced it’s first Android-based device. The new Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X10 also know as Rachael. XPERIA™ X10 is the next generation of XPERIA™ series which provides a consistent user experience where communication truly becomes entertainment.
 

Sony Ericsson announces two new colours for the new low-end slider W205 Walkman™:  Sakura Pink and Windy Blue. Now W205 have four different colours but only Ambient Black colour availabe anywhere. Other three colours available in selected markets. Information about colour availability you can find on your local Sony Ericsson site.


The new Kita™ is a slider phone, which has a wonderful design. Kita™ is first mobile phone outside of the Japanese market, which supports gesture gaming. Many preloaded gesture games will be on board of Kita™.



Today Sony Ericsson anounces the successor of well-know S302 Snapshot™ – the new S312, which has well-known codename Athena. Compact S312 is low-end phone, it has all basic features: 2.0″ 176×220 pixels TFT screen, 2.0-Megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom, PlayNow™, TrackID™ etc.


Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Available In Canada Via Rogers
You are lucky if you are living in Canada, because Rogers will launch the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 in Q2 of 2010.
As a reminder, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 comes jam packed with a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel shooter with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. Other specs include aGPS, Android 2.0 with Custom user interface, and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor.
